Easy Christmas Tree Pillows
Ready for a quick and easy sewing project that will tie together your Christmas decor? This trio of fabric tree pillows is a free pattern I designed for the Sew It Yourself blog! I love these stuffed trees and the way they add a bit of fun to my holiday decorations. You can use holiday fabric like I did, or choose any fabric from your stash, and decorate the trees with lace, ribbon, fringe trim, and buttons. I bet your holiday gift wrap station is filled with little extras (like bells and bows) that would look great on these evergreen trees! Get the free pattern here.
Video Tutorial
Here is a video tutorial showing you just how simple it is to sew up these pretty trees. You can view full instructions for the pillows, including the free printable PDF pattern, at the Sew It Yourself blog!
I sewed this project on my Baby Lock Ballad, as you’ll see in the video tutorial! With features like automatic threading, pushing a single button to cut the thread, speed control, and a large throat space, I love this machine for absolutely all of my sewing and quilting projects!
If you’re looking for a beginner-friendly sewing machine, some great models to consider are the Zest (low price-point, basic options), the Brilliant (a step up from the Zest that has more options to help you up your sewing game), and the Lyric (a fabulous machine and a great investment to make if you want to put some muscle into your sewing hobby)! To find out which one is right for you, just visit your local Baby Lock retailer.
