Fantasia Knits by Sara Lawson

Sewing for Elliot

My friend Sara sent me some of her brand new Fantasia fabric that she designed for Art Gallery, and I couldn’t resist stitching up a comfy tee and pajama pants for Elliot!

This T-shirt uses the print Miniature Hills in Metal, and I used a pattern from the book One-Yard Little Wonders. Just like the last time, I had to enlarge the neck for Mr. Man’s large cranium.

I whipped up the T-shirt and leggings from just 1/2 yard of fabric, and still had leftovers!

We decided to “dress up” these jammie pants with a smooth blazer. Surprisingly, he didn’t hate it. 🙂

If you’ve never sewn with Art Gallery knits, they are dreamy… very high-quality fabrics that will even withstand some seam ripping (I would know!).

Sara, thank you for letting us play with your new fabric!
