IMQG First Fridays Quilt Show
On the first Friday of each month, Indy art galleries stay open late for “First Fridays.” Last night, the Indy Modern Quilt Guild hosted an event to showcase some of our quilts for the public. We set up outside of the fantastic Crimson Tate fabric shop. Here are some pics!
You might remember this recent finish. Since we brought some friends with us that night, I got the pleasure of surprising Sally and Joe, who I made the quilt for!
Success! This little quilt will be headed to its new nursery next week. 🙂
So many stunning quilts on a line!
Here’s a nice daytime pic from Gretchen. There were lots and lots of quilts!
I had to snap a picture of Gretchen’s whimsical appliqued quilt. I am really drawn to the organic gumdrop shapes and orange/purple color combo.
And here’s another 2012 finish, my Glass Half Full quilt.
Thanks so much to the IMQG ladies (Katie, Heather, Rachael + more) who organized and set up this fab show!
