Blogger’s Quilt Festival: Exodus Encore

Welcome to visitors from the Blogger’s Quilt Festival!

I’m Lindsay and I blog regularly right here at Lindsay Sews and at my other blog, Craft Buds – a home for all kinds of tutorials and handmade business advice. This is my second time sharing a quilt for BQF, and I’m showing off my recent finish, The Exodus Quilt!

Billboard Quiltalong: Exodus Quilt Applique

The Exodus Quilt was a secret project which I donated to a men’s shelter called The Exodus House. It was inspired by Elizabeth’s Billboard Quiltalong.

The quilt was stitched in fall colors and mostly masculine prints, and quilted in a wavy-line design. The binding is a new favorite prints – a chocolatey brown Alexander Henry Heath from Pink Castle Fabrics.

The guys at the Exodus House were thrilled to receive a handmade quilt–and even more excited that it had their name on it, because it means so much to them! Original post here.
