August Dinner Party Wrap-Up and Winners

Wow, thanks to everyone who linked up to the Bloggers’ Dinner Party this month! I had fun hosting it for Kate while she was away and seeing all the fun stuff you guys have made for your kitchens.

Here are a few more of the projects that were submitted during the party this month! As you can see, you all really outdid yourselves.

Where’s my contribution to the dinner party this month? Well, I did get around to sewing something culinary, though it’s not a finished project. But I did try my first paper-pieced block using Ayumi’s teapot block tutorial!

I liked her method of working with freezer paper, and I’ll definitely take the suggestion to enlarge the original pattern the next time around! I think that’s why the top of my lid looks a little wonky, because I could not easily iron the seams open when the pieces are so small.
