Bloggers’ Dinner Party: My Napkin Roll and a Giveaway

Guess what? Kate at Needle and Spatula (a fun crafting and cooking blog) is hosting the Bloggers’ Dinner Party!

Bloggers' Dinner Party

To play along, you just need to create a new blog post about a crafting item that has to do with hosting a fabulous dinner party (kitchen crafts like aprons, napkins, casserole covers, table runners, etc.) Then, you can link back to the party here and you’ll be entered to win this fabric from Sew Fresh Fabrics! This month’s prize is a fat quarter bundle of these tasty treats.

Reminds me of a fancy tea party…. Mmmm. To play along, link up your post by June 28th!

Here’s my contribution. For one of my first craft swaps, I made Barbara (a school teacher with two young kids) these handmade gifts. I included 4 oilcloth reusable sandwich bags, a silverware roll / placemat for her to take to school and eat lunch, and 8 reusable fabric napkins for her kids to take in their lunches.

Here’s a closer shot of the silverware wrap! Barbara was a big fan of dragonflies and the color orange, so I embroidered some extra details to make it more “her.”

Head over the the Bloggers’ Dinner Party and check it out! Thanks Kate for hosting a fun new event.
