Yellow and green quilt blocks and some fabric swaps

I finished two more blocks for my Bottled Rainbows quilt! Here are the yellow and grass green blocks.

Yellow and green blocks

A big thanks to Marci for sending me some bright and beautiful scraps in the mail to finish my quilt. The night I got them, I started piecing together my blocks, and I had just the right colors to finish every block! (Still need to stitch four of them, and then I’ll piece all 16 blocks together.)

I’m also excited to be participating in a fabric swap at Gen X Quilters. We are swapping charm squares of Japanese import fabrics. I ordered these cute hippos!

I can’t wait to see the variety of fabrics that everyone else picks. I’m a huge sucker for inanimate objects (apples, mushrooms, trees) with faces.

I’m also organizing a vintage sheet fat quarter swap through the Indy Modern Quilt Guild. Found my sheet, and it’s pretty much perfect. Not to mention, it was $1!
