Giveaway! Sherbet Pips charm packs and the launch of Craft Buds

Good morning blogosphere! I’m writing from Washington, D.C. where I’m on vacation with my husband Matt and our good friends Sara and Jonah. Besides eating some great Indian food, I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed seeing pandas at The National Zoo and checking out Pulitzer Prize winning photos at The Newseum.

Why I am blogging on vacation? Well, I have some exciting news to share, and that’s the launch of Craft Buds. It’s a new project I’ve been working on with my friend and crafter-in-crime, Mary. We’re creating it as a resource for crafters to find inspiration, showcase their work, link up giveaways, and share handmade business news and blogging tips.

We decided on the name Craft Buds because we are friends, but also because we like the idea of a seed that sprouts into a flower, much like our creative dreams. This blog will be about watering that seed through practical advice and nurturing a network of others with a shared vision.

In addition to the launch of Craft Buds, Melissa at The Polkadot Chair will feature my travel changing mat tutorial on Tuesday! To celebrate, I’m offering a giveaway of two Sherbet Pips charm packs.
