Nerd Swap
I joined a smaller swap that required us to make items related to another person’s nerdy or geeky interests. The swap was smaller and required 3 items… this is what I came up with.
- A bracelet made from recycled WIRED magazines, to pick up on the computer geeky side of my partner Shannin. (She’s studying computer science.)
- A Kirby pincushion, inspired by one of her fave video game characters.
- Cute, Japanese inspired greeting cards. Shannin has an interest in pursuing an animation degree and she really likes Japanese, cutesy stuff. (I must admit, I love the food with faces aspect of these cards!) These will come in handy for sending with her other craft swaps.
