Nerd Swap

I joined a smaller swap that required us to make items related to another person’s nerdy or geeky interests. The swap was smaller and required 3 items… this is what I came up with.

  1. A bracelet made from recycled WIRED magazines, to pick up on the computer geeky side of my partner Shannin. (She’s studying computer science.)
  2. A Kirby pincushion, inspired by one of her fave video game characters.
  3. Cute, Japanese inspired greeting cards. Shannin has an interest in pursuing an animation degree and she really likes Japanese, cutesy stuff. (I must admit, I love the food with faces aspect of these cards!) These will come in handy for sending with her other craft swaps.
